Photos at Home

I hung our new family portrait in our front living room tonight.

I've actually been updating the pictures in some of the other frames recently as well, so I thought I would document and share the current state of our photo displays. I never really realized how many photos we have in this room until tonight. Believe it or not, but I didn't even get all of them here.

Didn't I tell you that I love pictures?

  1. I wish I was as good with hanging up my pictures as you are.

  2. It's beginning to look a lot like your mother in law's:)

  3. Hey, I just noticed we made your shelf--we haven't even made our own shelf yet:) But you guys monopolize our entire fridge! But now that I have a great picture from the wedding of you guys, you'll be happy to know that you'll make our living room wall!

  4. Aunt S: Connor picks up your picture every day and tells me "Ka" for the girls. It's super sweet. And it makes me think that I need to get pictures of all the family in his reach...so I'll probably be buying some more little frames to clutter that little short shelf soon.

  5. That's really neat, especially since they don't see each other that much! My girls still call him "baby Connor" and they talk about him quite a bit--poor Connor, he'll be 12 years old, and they'll still call him "baby Connor.":) If you remember that one dark green wire plant stand I have in my dining room--I used to load that with frames, and moving them around and studying them was both girls' favorite hobbies at his age! (ok, the younger one still does that:) BTW, all the child proof ornaments are now in the younger one's room on her little tree, my tree is bare--I may just go get a bunch more clip on poinsettias so it's not so nakes:)

  6. I thought I've seen baby proof photo ablums once. More like a toy baby book that has slots for pictures.

  7. Connor had one "baby proof" album, and he ripped it apart. He also has a cheap big person album, and that one has survived in tact. Go figure.

  8. That’s like the indestructible dog toy we bought. It’s not to pieces yet but the edges have been seriously frayed.
