Speaking of Pacifiers

Connor used to love his pacifier. He always had to have one, and he was very particular about the type, brand and size.

Kevin and I were worried about how hard it was going to be to break him of his pacifier habit. We both decided that we didn't mind him using pacifiers until he was 18 months old. Then, we were going to take them away and try to go cold turkey...

Fortunately, when Connor was about 13 months old, he just gave them up. One day, I realized that he hadn't used his pacifier in about a week. Then a week turned into a month. Then months. So, I put them all away.

Thank heavens that he just decided to be too big for pacifiers without a fight. We got lucky, I'm sure.
