Pap Pap's Longhorns

After Pap Pap died, I found two sets of longhorns in his basement.

They weren't hanging up on display.  They were lying in a pile on top of some wicker furniture that usually sits on the front porch during the summer.  In fact, I don't know that they had ever been hung up at his new house.  Maybe he had them hanging in one of his garages or workshops at his old house?  If he had hung them up after he moved, I'm guessing that they were probably in the basement.  So, I was totally surprised to find them.  I didn't remember ever seeing them before.

One of Pap Pap's brothers had moved to Texas long ago, and made the Dallas area his home.  Great Uncle Mike.  He had brought these longhorns up to Ohio to give to Pap Pap as a gift.

And now I have brought them back to Texas and hung them up.





I think they look pretty good.
