Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum and Library

We can now check another Presidential Library off the list, because we took Grandma Ella and Papa Kirk to visit the Carter Presidential Center with us today.

The Museum and Library are great, and the whole thing is set in some really beautiful gardens.  Fortunately for us, the weather was gorgeous so we were able to explore the gardens a bit, too.

Inside the Oval Office:

While we were checking out the Oval Office, Lex informed me that it was time for Daddy to run for President so that we could live in the White House.

This portrait was probably my favorite thing on display.  

It was painted by Octavio Ocampo in 1979.
