Happy Mardi Gras!

Tonight we went to Copeland's of New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras.  It was a lovely party.  There were decorations, a live band, face painters, and tons of great food!

These were bacon cheese broccoli bites of deep fried goodness.

Lex ordered a steak and fries.

I ordered red beans and rice.

Kevin ordered a crawfish boil.

Connor ordered a different steak with french fries.

I also ordered a small plate of tips with mushrooms.

The band was good.  The food was great.  The party was excellent.

We are planning on going back for Mardi Gras again next year.

And probably sometime in the meantime just for some delicious dinner.
