Connor really enjoys the Pokemon Pre Release tournaments that are held each time Pokemon releases new trading cards. You pay an entry fee, receive some cards, and build a small deck in a short period of the time using only the new cards. Then, you battle. Since Pokemon has cancelled all their events right now, we had to host our own Pre Release tournament at home.
I was able to order the card kits and have them shipped to the house. Then, Connor and I opened our card packs and got to work. I actually got lucky this time, and got a good set, and some cards that worked with it very well. I kicked butt.
Then, Lex opened his cards and built a deck, and Connor battled him, too.
The rest of the cards will be released on May 1st. We have already pre-ordered a box of cards, and they will be shipped to us at home.
