After our fantastic dinner at Boma, we headed to Hollywood Studios to check in for our After Hours party. We were able to enter the park at 7 PM, and there was only one thing I wanted to do that wasn't going to be open after the park closed at 9 PM, so we headed there first.
That was Muppet*Vision 3D. I love the Muppets. It was exactly the same as it was when I was a kid.
Then, we headed over and rode Star Tours. The mechanics of this ride were the same, but the story had been updated, and I really enjoyed the new version.
Next up was Galaxy's Edge.
I got a Fuzzy Tauntaun.
It was delicious, but it took me a long time to get past that foam that made my lips and tongue numb.
By the time we were done in the Cantina, the park had closed to the general public, so we had to show our wristbands to get into the lines. We rode Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and then we rode Rise of the Resistance, twice. We basically just walked right onto them. It was amazing!
Me on the Millennium Falcon.
Lex and Connor were the pilots, and I was a gunner.
This ride is such and immersive experience!
After 10 PM, the After Hours Party officially started, so we were able to grab some ice cream and drinks. I chose the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich, first.
Then we rode the new ride in the Chinese Theater, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. It was so adorable!
We saw Donald and Daisy!
Then we got some popcorn and made our way to Toy Story land, where we rode Toy Story Mania, the Alien Swirling Saucers, and Slinky Dog Dash. We actually had to wait about 20 minutes to ride Slinky Dog, and it was the only ride that we didn't just walk right onto all night long.
Finally, we headed to the other side of the park to ride the Aerosmith Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. We picked up some more treats on the way, and this time I got the strawberry popsicle.
By the time we had finished that, it was 12:30 in the morning, and we decided that since we had ridden all the rides on our list, we could head back to the hotel.
