It was the day when we could use our Magic Morning pass to get into Disneyland an hour before it opened to everyone else, which meant that we could get into the park as early as 7 AM! But that was a bit too early for us, and we managed to get there sometime around 8 AM. It was still plenty early, and the park was still plenty un-crowded. We pretty much walked right onto our rides for the first few hours of the day, with wait times either being nonexistent, or only about 15 minutes.
And just like the day before, the kids picked out a scary ride for the first ride of the day.
The Haunted Mansion
Even though the mansion was definitely haunted, it wasn't really as scary as the Tower of Terror.
We also rode the Pirates of the Caribbean. I think I might let the kids watch that movie now. When we were done with that, we basically walked right out of the one ride and right onto Splash Mountain. I think if you ask them, Kevin and Connor and Lex will all tell you that Splash Mountain was their favorite ride. Connor was very brave, and he sat in the front seat.
Next up was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
By this time, we had conquered New Orleans Square and Critter Country, so we headed to Adventureland so that we could ride the Indiana Jones Adventure.
Indiana Jones was an amazing ride!
Then, we headed over to Mickey's Toontown, which was adorable and so much fun!
I really like the Toontown sign in the background, much like the Hollywood sign in real life.
We visited Mickey's house.
Here's Lex with one of Mickey's infamous mops.
Of course, we had to meet Mickey, himself!
Connor tried really hard to lift this dumbell.
So did Lex.
After we left Toontown, we went for a ride on It's a Small World.
My husband! We've been married for 10 years!
Family portrait in front of Cinderella's castle.
It's all decked out for Disneyland's 60th anniversary.
So I guess that means that Disneyland had it's 50th anniversary the year we got married.
We rode the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad next. We had a fast pass, so we had been waiting for this one. Lex sat in the front of the train next to me, and he had a cup of frozen lemonade that he ate during the entire ride, like it was no big deal at all.
Then we went to Fantasyland, and we rode Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
I love that Toad. He's so much fun.
The kids tried to pull the sword out of the stone.
And then they decided to go back to California Adventure to try to Ride the Radiator Springs Racers, again.
And of course, it was shut down. Again.
So, we rode on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, again, instead.
And then we had all done everything we wanted, so we declared that we had conquered Disneyland!
