Weird Weather

The weather this July got a really weird start.  The days were hot and sunny, but the first few nights, as the sun was going down, things would take a turn.

There were storms every night when the sun went down for almost a week!

Here are some strange clouds that were all in the sky at sunset at the same time on Monday:

The sky was completely different depending on which way you were looking.

And then it hailed and poured rain:

Tuesday night was drier, but much windier.  I took this video from inside the house.  All the windows and doors were closed.  After I was done recording, some shoes and an area rug blew past!

After the big wind storm, things have settled back down.  The weather has gone back to hot and clear and windy in the day, and cold and clear and windy at night.
