And then, we visited the Animal Kingdom.
First, we went on the Na'vi River Journey.
Then we stopped by the Satu'li Canteen and had dessert, because you can do that at Disney.
Finally, we went on the Avatar Flight of Passage.
Then, we made a beeline for the Kilimanjaro Safaris in Africa because we wanted to get there before it started pouring rain, and we did.
We went for a lovely safari ride in the rain.
I counted three hippos in this pool.
All the African Painted Dogs were taking shelter from the rain in their den.
I think we caught up with the same elephants again.
An ostrich
Fortunately, the rain stopped during our time on the safari ride, so we were able to set out for lunch.
I found a mug at Starbucks!
Most of decided to eat in Asia for lunch, so we headed in that direction, and got food from the Yak & Yeti walk up counter.
Russell and Dug from Up
Setting our sights on Mount Everest
Connor, Lex and I rode Expedition Everest.
Then, we headed for DinoLand USA
Meet Sue. She's a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Carnotaurus
The last ride we went on was Dinosaur.
We used lightning lanes and Genie + again, so we didn't have to wait in lines. It was wonderful.
Around 2:30, we decided to split up.
Nana and Grandpa opted to stay in Animal Kingdom, Connor and Lex went back to the hotel for a nap, and Kevin and I went on a Monorail Resort crawl.
