We spent about 8 hours at Magic Kingdom before we headed back to our resort for some pizza and pool time, which was pretty good, considering that we had been out at Epcot until early that morning.
It helped that I was able to get some Starbucks in the park as soon as we arrived. They didn't have a mug, so I picked up a water bottle instead.
While we were at the Magic Kingdom, we met Mickey Mouse!
Then, we went to the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. They have updated this attraction since I saw it last, and it was amazing!
They picked on my dad throughout the show and called him churro guy.
Then, we had a reservation to ride Tron, so we split up and headed there while Nana and Kevin headed to it's a small world, because they didn't want to ride Tron.
Then, we saw Mickey's PhilarMagic. They have updated this show since the kids were younger, and it is also fantastic!
We had reservations for lunch at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Beast's Castle.
I had a flight of champagne and some french onion soup.
The gray stuff really was delicious!
After lunch, we rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We had a lightning lane reservation for that, too, so we didn't have to wait.
We headed to Adventureland and visited the Enchanted Tiki Room and got some Dole Whip treats. We also rode the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Then, we went to Frontierland and saw the Country Bear Jamboree.
It was exactly the way I remembered it, and it was fantastic.
Finally, we made a last stop at the Haunted Mansion.
The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite things.
The boys were ready to go, so we headed back to the front for the exit.
Donald Duck
It was a magical day in the Magic Kingdom.
Since we used Genie + and bought individual lightning lane passes for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Tron, we never had to wait in line for longer than a few minutes.
