This is Homeschooling
Here is an eighth grade student, reading Around the World in 80 Days *while* completing a Japanese Kanji practice workbook *while* holding a smol dog on his lap, because this is what homeschooling looks like some days.
(Yes, he knows that multitasking isn't as effective as focusing on just one thing at a time. He just read about it in that book that is sitting there in the corner. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.)

In which we go camping
Poppy loves going places
Unicoi State Park Visitor Center
Beware of Bears
We kept all of our food in the car unless we were eating it.
The camp sites were lovely and wooded.
Happy Campers!

Happy 14th Birthday to Connor!!
Someone might have gotten a few pairs of sunglasses for his birthday this year.
Connor wanted to go to the movies, so we went and watched Fast and the Furious 9 at the theater.
He also wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, and to get a cheesecake for his birthday cake.
Waiting for Cheesecake Factory.
