I think I chose this page because I have been reading Florida Woman.

Today, I kept my hands busy while I was watching over the testing process.

This Week at Redstone Academy

Lex finished his Africa Geography workbook, and began the Europe version.

I drew some gems to use with my VIPKID classes, and Lex offered to help me color them.

Connor wrote a paragraph about life during the Great Depression after reading his novel (No Promises in the Wind) and doing some research. 

Lex drew some fantastic Pokemon pictures for art class.







Lex will be reading One Thousand and One Arabian Nights next.

Lex has begun the final section of his science text book, so I ordered the last Sassafras Science Adventure book for the boys.  They have been completing one of these science books every year during the summer as part of our "summer camp" at home.  I think we may start it a little early this year.

Summer Camp At Home - Friday Edition

Today we started learning about pandemics.  The first one we are learning about is the Black Death.

We made some plague masks.

The birdful shape of the plague mask led me to grab my Kurzgesagt coloring book and color this awesome bird.

Connor colored the layers of the earth in his Sassafras SciDat Log.

He beat me at chess, and then he beat me at checkers.  

I wanted to play some Chinese checkers, but he didn't want to lose.

This week, we also read some of the Tales from Japan, and I Survived the Japanese Tsunami, 2011.
