Here is a link to the knitting instructions that our instructor, Ruth, directed us to use at home.

I need to figure out how to end off a piece, because I am tired of working on the practice square that I have going on now, and I want to start something new.

I'm actually learning to knit
Our first knitting class was this past weekend, and I learned some beginning knitting stitches. Basically, I could make any number of squarish things now, like blankets, towels, dish cloths or scarves. Of course, I still need some practice to make things pretty, but it isn't as hard as I thought it would be.
I'll post some pictures once I actually start working on a project. Right now I'm just kind of practicing on a ball of yarn.

Really Sweet
My sorority sister made this incredibly cute hat for Connor. Her name is Really and her maiden name is Sweet. She has sisters named Truly, Very, Always and Forever. They really are a Sweet family.
On a related noted, another one of my sorority sisters, Carrie, got a bunch of us a knitting class for Christmas. We are going to start to learn soon, and hopefully I will be able to make Connor a scarf or a sweater to match this hat sometime in the near future.
