This Monday evening, I sat down at 8:30 to watch my favorite tv show, How I Met Your Mother. Only it wasn't on. The network had changed it's time slot to 8:00 and didn't tell me. I missed it.
I was so sad, but then I discovered that I can watch the episode as soon as it is over online, for free, and it's in a very high quality format. So, that's good. It also frees up my Monday nights, so that I can take part in the new sporting league that Kevin and I joined last night.
That's right people, DODGEBALL! Kevin and I have joined one of the Columbus Young Professionals Dodgeball teams, and we will be playing in a league on Monday nights, starting with this coming Monday. We'll get our shirts then, so hopefully they will be cool.
I'm totally excited. And, I finished watching Monday's episode of How I Met Your Mother this morning. It was hilarious. You should watch it. I guess the Josh Radnor, who plays the main character, is from Bexley. Which is totally cool.
Sidebar: Kevin and I went to Bexley this weekend, and we visted the Governor's Mansion to see the solar energy system that they have set up there as part of a Solar Ohio Tour that Kevin had heard about. It was pretty neat. The house is very big, and the gardens there are very interesting. If you call them and arrange it ahead of time, they do interior tours on Tuesday evenings. I might want to do that sometime. But, I was very impressed with the neighborhood. Some of those houses were amazing!
Sidebar No. 2: Last night, on our way to dinner, Kevin and I found ourselves in Jim Tressel's neighborhood, so we drove past his house. I think it might have been bigger than the Governor's Mansion, and it was definitly newer.
