Bleak House

Well, after what I am sure is the longest time that anyone has ever taken to finish reading a book, I have just this afternoon finished reading Bleak House by Charles Dickens. I really liked the book very much, and I am astonished to find that so many other works have derived and borrowed little details from this book. The ending was lovely, even though it was not exactly what I expected - there were a number of twists and turns. Also, in the course of the 830 pages (I am sure that Dickens was paid by the word, and handsomely for this work), many characters were born and many died.

Now, I must see if there has been a movie adapted from this work, as I am sure that it would be very entertaining. I know that the BBC did an entire mini-drama sitcom based upon the book, but I don't know how many episodes long it is, or how easy it would be to get my paws upon.
