We have recently purchased new car seats for Connor, as he has finally outgrown his infant carrier. Truthfully, he could have moved to the bigger car seats a while ago.
I bought a nice Eddie Bauer model for my SUV, and it cost me about $115. It converts to a booster later, and it will last until Connor is 80 pounds. I'm very happy with it.
We ran into some problems with Kevin's Buick, though. Apparently the backseat only accomodates one brand of car seat in the rear facing position: Britax. Of course, the one that fits best is the most expensive.
So, tonight we bought a $310 car seat for Kevin's car. Isn't it beautiful?
It only lasts until Connor is 65 pounds, so we're going to have to buy yet another booster seat for Kevin's car someday.
