Does your family drink milk? Ours does. And how!
We buy milk two or three times a week. And each time we do, we buy the following:
1 gallon of whole milk with vitamin D added for Connor.
1/2 gallon of 1% milk for me.
1/2 gallon of fat free skim milk for Kevin.
Milk hardly ever goes bad at our house. Instead, our problem is that we always need more!
Yesterday, Kevin said that buying so many different varieties of milk was too much, and that our family's milk habits were crazy compared to other families. So, I need to know, are we nuts, or do you all drink milk too?
(I know that at my mom's house, the milk is *always* expired. And it's usually soy milk or something else that I don't really consider to be milk.)

Up until the girls turned three, we bought two different kinds of milk. Whole milk for them, and skim for the adults. Now everyone drinks the same milk. Which is either skim or 1%. I prefer the skim and Bob prefers the 1%. So it depends who does the grocery shopping that week.
I don't drink milk. At all. Ever. But, we now buy whole milk for Caroline, and if Aaron's in the mood, we get skim for him. But, if you open the refrigerator at our house, chances are good that anything other than the whole milk is expired.
We buy 2% mostly becuase that's what I grew up on and like. When we go to the store we always get the one with the furthest to expiration date so it will last longer. But lately we've been buying gallons because they really aren't that much more than the 1/2 gallon.
