I will *never* bake cookies again without using parchment paper on the cookie sheets!
I've known for some time that it is supposed to be helpful if you put parchment paper on cookie sheets when baking cookies, but I hadn't bothered to try it until this weekend, despite the box parchment paper sitting in my pantry. I don't know why I never did it before - I just never felt like it.
But, Saturday night, I went ahead and trimmed a few sheets to put on my cookie sheets, and it was wonderful!
The cookies were perfectly done, they slid right off of the paper, and I didn't have to scrub the cookie sheets afterwards! Plus, there were no crumbs left on the sheets to burn after the first batch.
I can't beleive I waited so long!

mmmmm cookies! How can you post about cookies, but not tell us what kind:) I've never used parchment paper, but I always bake cookies with silicone pads on the baking sheets--I can't live w/o those!
Oops - of course! The type: Chocolate Chip. One of my favorites. Probably one of everyone's favorite. So yes, they are already gone.
