Potty play time

After Connor learned how to walk (because that's important when getting to the potty), we bought him his first little potty. It's been sitting in the first floor bathroom ever since then, and he occassionally plays with it. I wanted to have the potty available for Connor so that he could get used to it, and so that it would be ready when he was ready to use it.

We aren't pressuring him to be potty trained right now, but he has started to show an increasing interest in all things bathroom. He played with his potty this morning for about 20 minutes. Then, when I went upstairs, I discovered that he had been playing in his bathroom this morning, too! All the toilet paper was wound off the roll and on the floor, and the fuzzy toilet seat cover was no longer on the toilet, but on the floor in the loft. Crazy little boy (andy Daddy, for letting him do it)!
