I finished up whitening my teeth this weekend. The tubes of whitening agent lasted about a week longer for me than they do for most people because I have a small mouth. I never knew I had a small mouth until my last trip to the dentist, when just about everyone who was working on my teeth remarked that I had a small mouth. Who knew?
Well, I looked at the chart again, and so did Kevin. We both agree that my teeth are a 2 and a 3 on the whiteness scale, which is exactly what I was aiming for. Moreover, I notice each time I look in the mirror that my smile is brighter, so I am very, very happy.
There was no sensitivity or pain and the whole thing was pretty convenient.
It also gave me a good reason to kick my growing caffeine habit. I haven't had any coffee or dark colored soda since I started. I have had a few lighter colored caffeinated sodas, but I'm doing much better. I could have had a mocha this morning, but I didn't.
