We Went to COSI on Saturday

On Saturday, while Kevin was busy taking a big professional test, we had a girls day (plus Connor) out at COSI. My cousin and her two daughters came to visit, and we went to COSI to see the traveling Sesame Street exhibit. It was a great time!

Connor somehow knows who Elmo is. I think that they have some Elmo toys at his daycare center. He surprised me last week by naming Elmo while I was changing his diaper, because his diapers have Elmo on the back of them. Although I didn't know that he knew who Elmo was, I was glad, because I wanted him to be excited about our upcoming trip to see Elmo at COSI.

I thought that the exhibit was very nicely done. It appealed to all three kids, and there were things for them all to do. Ariel and Hannah thought that the exercise part was the best. I think Connor liked the grocery store the best. I enjoyed watching him go through the obstacle course the most.

After COSI, we carved pumpkins. None of the kids had ever done it before. I must admit that I ended up doing most of the work, but it was fun. I don't know how kids are supposed to carve pumpkins with those tiny little knives that come in carving kits, but I didn't feel comfortable giving them the big knife that I ended up using.

After we were all done, and I was outside lighting the candles in the pumpkins, Connor locked me out of the house! I'm so glad that Pam and the girls were there to let me back in. I had no idea that he could work the screen door lock, but he can. So, now we can not rely on the lock to keep him in, and we can't leave him alone in there or he might lock us out!

"Momo"---I miss my girls loving Momo! Sounds like you had fun--is
COSI an interactive/discovery type of museum like what we just went to?
