I recognize that I'm posting these photos at the risk of great personal embarrassment, but they are fun to look back on now.
My family went to Florida every summer from the time that I was in the 5th grade until after I graduated from high school to visit my maternal grandparents and go to Disney. The rest of my family continued the annual trip, even after I was in college, until just recently.
Our first trip was in 1992, and my little brother Kevin was 2 years old. I want to take Connor down to Disney sometime in the next few years. (I'm debating whether a Disney Cruise would be better if we went sooner rather than later. My boss took his son on a Disney Cruise when he was about 2, and they said it was great.)
This was the first time I met Mickey Mouse (and I had just graduated from the DARE program like a week or two before, so I was super excited about this shirt).
Here we are with Mickey in 1993.
These pictures are from 1994:
Chip and Dale!
Here is my family with my Gammy and Gang-Gang (my mother's paternal grandparents), Reverend(!) Paul and Jane E.
Mom, me (look at the pink shorts!), Mickey, Kevin, Chris and Dad.
Here is my Dad with Jessica Rabbit (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). My Mom gets a kick out of this photo, still.
These pictures are from 1995:
Julie, Mickey, Kevin and Chris!!
My grandparents and brothers and I. Look how little Kevin is. Chris is even still sort of little here.
Here we are with Mickey in 1997 (It looks like we were recently rained on.):
These pictures are from 1998:
Here I am with my brother, Chris, and my Grandma Fay and Grandpa Bob.
This is me and my brothers at the Animal Kingdom.
This last one is my mom and her parents, with my little brother Kevin, in 2006.
(I just noticed that I have been the same height as my mom, more or less, since I was about 12.)

I can still remember when Chris and Kevin were that young...ahh, memories!
How fun---my parents aren't too far from Orlando, and I swear they've had more fun with their annual Disney passes they buy as retired adults, than we did as kids--whasss up with that! Every year they buy personalized Disney ornaments for the girls from Magic Kingdom and the girls also have embroidered Mickey and Minney Stockings, also from the Magic Kingdom--the mouse may as well just move in!
