Car & Driver with Julie

Because I am an expert at cars! :)

No, it just seems like we have had a lot of rental cars lately, so I thought I would share my thoughts on the different models we've been driving.

First, let me say that I love my Ford Escape. It's the perfect size, and it's easy to drive.

I love to ride around in Kevin's Buick LeSabre - it's like sitting on a cloud - but I hate to drive it! It's too big and it handles like a boat.

We had a Ford Mustang. That was fun to drive for a while - really fun. But getting Connor in and out of the back seat of a two door sports car was not so fun. At least his car seat did fit back there.

We also had a rental Chevy Impala. That thing is a death trap! There were more blind spots on that car than actual visible spots. Crazy that they built it like that!

Next was the Mitsubishi Galant. I thought that the steering was wonky on that one, but that's probably just because the wheels were not installed properly and about to fall off. I'll wait to pass judgment on this one.

Now we have the VW Jetta. I love to drive this one. However, Connor doesn't like to ride in it. When we let him choose which car we should take, he kept picking the Buick over this one. Then, when we took it to church yesterday, he got car sick in the back seat. I rode in the back seat on the way home with him, and now I know why. The back seat does not ride well. At all. It jiggles and shakes and bumps. I almost got car sick. And riding back there made my ovaries hurt. Seriously.
