I want Alliums in my garden this summer. Specifically, I want these Globemaster Alliums.
But apparently they are a fall-planted bulb. So I can't seem to get my dirty little hands on any. I am thisclose to calling every nursery and greenhouse in town to see if I can bribe my way into about a dozen of these plants.
If I must wait until September to plant them, that means that I won't get to enjoy looking at them until next summer, and that is simply unacceptable.
Also, I want to finally do the curtains on the first floor of the house. I've found some that I like in a catalog, but they are really expensive. So, I thought that I would go out and buy fabric and make my own, just like the ones in the catalog. A quick trip to JoAnn Fabrics revealed nothing but fabric that I hated, so I thought I would go to Sarafina. The Serafina in Columbus is closed! Where else can I buy fabric in Columbus?

ok Julie, I'm coming back to the blog scene--slowly but surely--I hope you're happy:) These flowers are beautiful--good luck with the flower and fabric search!
Em's MIL lives in Pataskala & sews lots--you should ask Em to ask her where to get fabric.
