It's my fault really.
I tempted fate.
I forgot to knock on wood.
I forgot to disclaim the fact that all of you have children that you believe are perfect angels, too. Every mother does.
Last night, Sara and Jason came to visit, and they brought Ethan and Noah along with them. Maybe Connor was showing off for them. Maybe Connor felt ignored. Maybe he was just being two years old. But, he picked up a Thomas the Train toy (the mine tunnel, if you must know) and threw it across the room, where it hit the laptop and busted off the keys for the letters E and D. So if I don't try *really* hard, my typing looks like crap.
This is unusual behavior for Connor. He doesn't usually throw toys. But he kept trying to do it last night...
Soon, hopefully, I'll be able to get this keyboard fixed. I brought home a large file from work that I should be putting together an invoice on, but after typing this, I think I'll wait...

don't forget life changes after two! (my older one was a sweet perfect angel, literally until two!)
I knew that mine tunnel would come in handy!
Z was a total nightmare from about 2 months before A was born until, oh, June or so...maybe Connor is just an overachiever on the sibling acting out!
Did you get your keyboard fixed?
I left my laptop with the Geek Squad. They are going to fix it, but I'll be without it for about two weeks!
It takes 2 weeks to fix 2 keys?!?!
Yes. Apparently, they don't just fix two keys. Instead, they ship my laptop to the central service center, remove the entire keyboard and install a new keyboard. Then, they run a full diagnostic to see if there are any other problems. If there are, they will fix those, too. Then, once the laptop is in good working order, they ship it back to the Best Buy where I dropped it off and I can pick it up. I don't know if I like all that, but it is free and it should be fine, as long as I can be patient.
I would be lost without my laptop. I would have to resort to the desktop which is fine but it dosen't allow me to watch tv at the same time. :)
I guess if its all free then hopefully that will make up for not having it.
Oh Julie he's still perfect, as a matter of fact he's more perfect now. EVERY kid has a melt down or two, it's how you react that makes the difference. Connor is just learning how to push buttons and seeing what happens. It's all part of the package....you'll all get through it.
