New Favorite Bedtime Stories

Grandma Ella works at a library, so sometimes she buys us really great books from the library sales. She recently purchased Connor a Harper Collins Picture Book Treasury that was being purged from the library collection, although why, I don't know. It's a wonderful book and it is in great shape.

Connor can barely pick the book up and carry it, it's so big, but he adores it. He has a few stories out of the book that he wants to read each night before bed.


We have a board book copy of this story, but for some reason, he likes it better in the big treasury book. He always puts his finger to his lips and says "hush" when we come to the part about the quiet old lady whispering "hush." He can recite other parts, too.


His favorite part of this story? The page where the boa is wrapped around the burglar and the policeman comes in to save them.


I think this is his most favorite story. Again, his favorite part is the policeman.
