Connor Would Have Hired Her, Too

Two things:

1. Here is the biggest little Columbus Crew fan with his Daddy before the FC Dallas game last Saturday. He *loves* the Crew.

2. I met the girl that my boss hired to take over for me when I leave this morning. I spent about two hours showing her around the office, and she's going to come in for more training tomorrow morning, too.

What does Thing 1 have to do with Thing 2? Well, the new girl is blonde, and Connor has showed a clear preference for blondes ever since, well, birth. But I guess that's nothing to write home about. No, the real reason that Connor would like her is because she is also a Columbus Crew Cheerleader.

She invited me to stop by the fan tent following the next home game that we attend, and she promised to introduce us to all the other cheerleaders and players. Connor is going to be so excited. Although, I'm sure that the one he wants to meet most is the Crew Cat.

(And maybe Guillermo Schelotto, too. He was running around the dinner table last night with a little soccer ball, saying, "Guillermo, Guillermo, Guillermo" after he was done eating.)
