We waited at the finish line so that we could cheer for Kevin when he finished his first 5k race on Saturday. We waited and waited and waited. And then, suddenly, he appeared, having crossed the finish line without our notice. He ran the race in 38 minutes, and if I recall correctly, it was at about the 38 minute mark that Connor told me, "sun bothering me," so my attention was totally focused on getting Connor into some shade by switching our seats. I am so disappointed that I missed Kevin's big finish! He said that he sprinted across the finish line in order to impress us, too!
