Connor is 2 Years and 3 Months Old

In honor of this very special day, the day when Connor is two years and three months old (also known as 27 months old - and 27 is a very special number for him, as he was born on the 27th and currently weighs 27 pounds still), I'm going to dedicate this blog post to him, and share with you his favorite things.

Favorite Places to Go: Clippers game, Crew game, Park

Favorite Sports: Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Baseball, Football

Favorite Tools: Lawn mower, Weed whacker, Edger, Blower

Favorite Foods: Cheese, Chocolate milk, Hot dogs, Spaghetti, Tacos

Favorite Songs: Mary Had a Little Lamb (while playing piano), "Mommy's Socks" (an original tune to be sung while playing the guitar)

Favorite TV Shows: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Imagination Movers

Favorite Movie: Cars

Favorite Stores: Home Depot, Lowes, Wal*Mart

Favorite Books: Curious George books, Grandma and Me by Karen Katz, Peak-a-Baby by Karen Katz (both are lift-the-flap books)

Favorite Things to Talk about While in the Car (and he will talk your ear off!): Combines, Train tracks, Water Towers, Stadiums, Daddy's Office


And, since it *is* such a Special Day, I'll even share with you the lyrics to "Mommy's Socks." You know, just in case he ever asks you to sing it with him. That way you don't have to make up your own version, which is what my mom ended up doing the other day while I was at the doctor's office, and he kept demanding that they sing "Mommy's Socks."

Mommy's Socks

Oh, I had a pair of socks,
And Connor tried to take them off,
So I came over here,
And sat down on my feet,
And sang a song about my socks!

(Repeat until the cows come home, or Connor has to go to bed, whichever comes first.)

Yes, he loves that song to pieces, and I wrote it myself. I'll bet you can guess what was going on when I wrote it!
