Ok, I'm a VERY trained musician--and that looks like a real trumpet! Cool--now your dad needs to teach him how to buzz his lips!:)
p.s. since my girls go to a lot of my concerts, they've been familiar with wind instruments for a couple of years now. At the age of two my older one announced she wants to play the pink trombone:)
It is a real trumpet...he just didn't have the mouthpiece on it because we hadn't cleaned it yet.
Apparently my parents have been secretly stockpiling musical instruments for their grandchildren.
I had no idea that they had so many! When Connor asked for a trumpet, he had one in his hands within 5 minutes! I wish that life was always that easy...
