Re-Casting the Twilight Movies

It's no secret that I really don't think that the Twilight movie was any good, and as far as I can tell from the trailers for New Moon, that movie is going to be bad, too.

First of all, there is the issue of whether or not the screenwriter has actually ever read the books.

Then, there is the issue of casting. Kristen Stewart? Need I say more?

I think that Ellen Page (from Juno, and other great movies) would make a much better Bella.

I also vote for Zooey Deschanel as Alice Cullen.

I do, however, agree that Dakota Fanning is a good choice for Jane.

I know that I thought of someone brilliant to play Rosalie earlier, but now I forget who I came up with...so I'll just leave this topic open for discussion now.

We bought the movie via Pay-per-view--(I believe I had just started reading the 2nd or 3rd book at the time)---and I literally fell asleep after half of it--J watched it but wasn't that impressed. I personally thought was very upset with Edward--he just didn't seem as strong and super "Human" to me as he did in the books--and quite frankly the movie to me was flat and dark, as opposed to the books which were so alive. I have no plans to see "New Moon."
