In years past, he has helped us pass out the candy while in costume, as he was really too little to go from house to house. It took him a while to warm up to the idea, but soon he was racing from house to house, and grabbing the candy right out of the bowl!

We stopped along the way and my Mom took a nice family picture for us.
Lex, however, was not impressed by the loads of candy. He fell asleep during our little walk.

We have those same lanterns here--I had to drive all over to find one in pink last year!
I'm glad he liked the lantern. Monkey and Banana, cute idea! We saw a Batman and Robin last night we may use that type of theme for the twins next year.

I hope that I'll be able to coordinate their costumes next year, too, before Lex starts having too much of an opinion on the matter, but we shall see.
