I *finally* ordered our Christmas cards today.
They are expected to arrive between Friday and Tuesday, which means that I need to get those suckers addressed and back in the mail the day *before* I even get them in order to be sure that they get to people before Christmas this year.
And all those people who wait to send cards until they receive them, well, I guess I won't be getting a card from any of those people this year...because it will definitely be too late for that!
Let that be a lesson to me, I suppose, not to wait so late to get our Christmas portraits done.
(I had a good excuse this year, though. I was waiting for Baby Lex to be born before we had our pictures taken. I mean - we did have portraits done pre-Lex, but it just didn't seem right to send out a card without his precious little mug gracing it. And then I was waiting just a little bit longer for him to get a bit bigger and for me to get a bit smaller...I simply can't be held responsible for the timing of Christmas and the sluggish pace of snail mail.)

LOL. Uncle is so funny sometimes, but Kevin wanted final approval of our cards this year, too!
Fortunately, he liked my choice.
Oddly enough, the fact that you can see Connor's sneakers in this photo bugged him...
And, according to UPS tracking, our cards are already in Nashville, and I should get the on Wednesday!
