Our family loves crack. No, not that type of crack. It's a cookie-like dessert made with saltine crackers. And it is so addictive. You will become an addict.
Many people in our family have perfected the crack recipe and I saw no reason to make it this Christmas. Kevin is, after all, on a diet. He wouldn't be able to resist the crack if we had it in the house.
So, I made a different type. And it was good. And, I've got big plans (or maybe small to medium plans) to do a third, different type of crack before Christmas.
Ingredients:
8-9 Honey Maid honey graham crackers
6 squares Baker's semi-sweet baking chocolate
1/2 cup peanut butter (I used creamy)
3 squares Baker's white baking chocolate
Directions:
Line 13x9 pan with foil, leaving foil extending over sides.
Arrange graham crackers in a single layer on the foil, covering the entire pan.
Microwave semi-sweet chocolate and peanut butter for 1 - 2 minutes until melted. Stir and pour over grahams, covering them completely.
Microwave white chocolate 1 minute until melted. Drop by spoonfuls onto pan, use a knife to cut through it for a marbled effect.
Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm. Use foil to remove from pan, peel away foil and break into bars.
Store covered in refrigerator.
