He is still the happiest baby ever.
Even after he has a coughing fit, if you catch his attention and smile at him, he will instantly light back up.
I can tell he is feeling a bit under the weather, though, as he isn't eating quite as much as usual, and he is a bit more fussy than normal. It's nice, though, that even if he is fussy, he will turn happy again after just a few seconds of undivided attention. All I really have to do is carry him around in the sling and he is perfectly happy.
From now on, I think that every patient of mine should be this easygoing and happy, or else they aren't allowed to get sick.
The biggest tell-tale sign that he is sick is that he is wheezy. Here's a short video to prove it.
The breathing treatments really quiet his wheezing, and he seems to like the mist blowing on his face when we do them. It's a shame that it took so darn long to get the nebulizer delivered. We saw the doctor on Monday morning and we didn't get the machine until late on Tuesday. I think Monday was Lex's worst day. But, we own this nebulizer (unlike the ones we rented when Connor was a baby), so we'll always have it in the future!
Even though everything is going to so well while he is sick, I hope that he (and I) get better soon!
