Who's Playing in the Snow?

"Connor, since Lex is taking a nap, do you want to go play in the snow?"

"Yes. I want the big shovel, and you can have the rake. Not the big rake. The big rake is for Daddy only. You can use the little rake. I will use the big shovel instead."

"Okay, Connor. Whatever you say..."

Later on...Lex woke up from his nap and wanted to join us. Or, rather, I thought he should experience some snow for the first time.

Infant Snow Angels

If you look at his right foot (no, the other right, his right, oh whatever!) you will see that his snowsuit is so big that his arms and legs didn't even come close to the ends. There is no foot inside his little booties.

He kept squinting because it was so bright outside with all the glare off the snow.

Connor kept putting snow on Lex's head. He thought it was hilarious. Each time I said, "Quit putting snow on your brother," he would giggle like a maniac. So, even though Lex didn't like the cold snow and kept blinking it off his face, he laughed, too. I guess that is what being brothers is all about.

Snowsuits courtesy of Grandma Ella. They used to be Kevin's (and Kyle's, and Kris', too). Connor wore the airplane suit when he was smaller. Now it's Lex's turn.

Connor's Cookie Monster hat and gloves are courtesy of Pam. Thanks!

Do we have to worry about the child labor laws concerning snow shovelling ???? LOL :)
