It was raining, so we couldn't go outside to play basketball.
It isn't our day to go to the gym for parent and tot time, so we couldn't play basketball on the court inside.
And we weren't going to COSI, so he couldn't even see the rats play basketball.
Yes, COSI has basketball playing rats. And they call it Rat Basketball. (Go figure.)
When we were there last Friday (was it really only a few days ago?), Connor caught a Rat Basketball show in Little Kidspace with my Mom while I was with Lex in the nursing lounge.
Sidebar: COSI has a really great nursing lounge. I'll save the rest of the nursing in public post for another day.
From the pictures my Mom took, I can see that Connor was an avid fan. He is front and center, and although the other kids seem to be running around and switching places, he is glued to his spot.
Plus, he keeps talking about the rats and telling me about the show. And he keeps asking when we are going back to see them again.
