Easter Portraits, Bikes and Ramblings
One of these past days since Easter, and no I can't remember exactly which one, as we have been so busy, busy, busy, Connor asked me what the Easter Bunny was doing.
"He's at his house, resting up for next year."
"Next year he is going to bring me a red pedals bike. With a bell."
I know exactly which bike Connor is talking about. It's the red Giant bike he tried out at the bike shop where we bought his Early Rider. It's the bike he wants for his birthday in June. Apparently, he's putting in a word with the Easter Bunny, too, just in case the birthday thing falls through.
We are going to have to buy him this bike for his birthday. And I don't know what the Easter Bunny can possibly bring next year to keep pace with this year.
And I don't know how we ended up with a child who believes in the Easter Bunny and not Santa Claus. We never tried to make him believe in either, and we only mentioned the Bunny once or twice before he took it up and ran with it.
But, believe in the Bunny or not, the Bunny was very good to Connor this year. And me, too, for that matter.
Kevin said that he didn't want to do big presents for Easter this year. So I bought him chocolates when we were on our first chocolate factory tour. I got some small things for Connor's basket and a little stuffed bunny for Lex. Then, Kevin decided that we should get Connor a bike. And then, on Easter morning, he surprised me with a new camera.
Expect more posts soon, with lots of pictures that I've been taking this week using my new camera during our (many) outings.
