So, after spending Tuesday morning last week at the chocolate factory and a quick outfit change at home for my boys, we headed to the Franklin Park Conservatory to see the butterflies.
Someone made a new friend. With pretty yellow stripes. And I'm jealous. The only butterfly that landed on me happened to land on the back of my head, and I didn't get to see it. A butterfly landed on Lex's forehead, and he got startled, which in turn startled the butterfly away. This is the same thing that happened when Connor was a baby.
A butterfly fancied landing on Pam's shoulder. And Pam fancied the butterfly.
Connor's favorite part of the outdoor gardens? R.U.N.N.I.N.G.
Sidebar:: I've decided that I want to visit the Museum of Glass located in Tacoma, Washington. (Add to Bucket List)
In all seriousness, you can dial the phone number listed on that sign above to learn all about this tree and how it can be sunburned. But you don't have to, really. Just look at it. That bark is the same color as my skin and I can get sunburned. Enough said.

beautiful photos---glad no one fell on a cactus at the Butteryfly garden like I did yesterday :O
Your picture of the Chihuly glass is gorgeous! We stopped by the gift shop at the Glass Museum on a trip to Mt. St. Helens during one of our visits to Seattle, and there's a bridge outside with a ceiling covered with glass like your picture.
