in which I describe our recent goings-on and life in general

Connor is in love with his tractor and lawn mower again this year. We bought some new plants for our garden. I still have a tray of periwinkle that I need to plant.

Connor also loves sports. He often says, "What sport do you want to play, Daddy?"

He likes golf, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, hockey...

I'm sure I'm leaving something out.

Oh, like pool. Here he is, playing his very first game of pool with Daddy.

Lex rolled over today. He's been able to do it for a while now, but *someone* who is about two years old usually "helps" him roll over whenever he gets close.

Lex also drank water from a cup today. The same way that I do. He doesn't know how to use a bottle, but he can drink from a cup like an adult.

I pumped some milk the other day because I had a blockage (too much info?) and I ended up with about a half ounce of milk in a bottle. I went ahead and gave it to Lex, and he didn't know what to do with it. He played with it for a while, so of course it ended up in his mouth. He got a little bit out, and I could see the gears turning in his head. He was so excited - it was a milk-flavored toy to him. But he couldn't actually drink it.

It seems like we've been on the go all the time. We've been to both COSI and the zoo again.

Oh, come to think of it, I think I forgot to mention that we went to COSI two weeks ago. Connor participated in a two-session toddler workshop on Caterpillars and Butterflies. It was a ton of fun! And I think it really was the perfect time, since we've recently been to see the butterflies at the Franklin Park Conservatory.

Oh, and Lex is pretty good at sitting up by himself now.

Lex is totally in love with "that baby in the mirror."

And here I am, with my new camera.

And here is Connor, playing air guitar on a crutch. Of course. I'm really not surprised. Everything is either a guitar or a drum.

And I'll leave you with a totally cute picture of a naked baby playing in the water.
