Connorisms

Connor's love affair with the Disney movie Cars has been renewed. And he has been running around saying ka-chow whenever he is excited, just like Lightening McQueen.

He also asks each time we watch the movie, "Why are the cars being people, Mommy?" To which I reply, "Because they have been personified." This is usually followed by a five minute "Why?" conversation. I explain, he asks why.

At a store recently, while in the checkout line, he told me, "Mommy, I am expensive." Right you are there, buddy! No, really, he is priceless.

When I tell him that he has to do something that he doesn't want to do, such as, "Keep your hands to yourself. No touching things in the store." He responds with, "But I love to touch things." The way he says it is so funny. "But I love to kick things." or "But I love to yell inside."

We've been doing some gardening lately, and he mispronounces garden as yarding. Makes sense to me!

I particularly like the "yarding" one--it's actually quite logical!
