The first thing on Connor's agenda was to drive the ambulance. He decided this before we even left the house. Lucky for him, Little KidSpace was pretty empty this morning, so there was no one else in the ambulance when we got there.
The first thing on Lex's agenda was the baby water table. He loves that thing! He played and played and played, and I only took him out when we was soaked and starting to get cold. Not that he minded one bit about all that.
Mine, all mine!
(Even though this one is a little blurry, it is worth posting, because this is just so Lex.)

This is what learning looks like.
Here is Lex sitting in a little birdie nest. Okay, a big birdie nest.
This is why we have babies. So that we can put things on their heads and then take funny pictures of them.
We stopped at the pendulum for a photo op right before leaving. Lex looks pleased to be going home, no?
Anywho, I explained to Connor how this thing worked, and then he overheard me explain it again when a little boy next to us looked at me and said, "I don't get it." Connor got it, though. He asked to stay to watch the pendulum knock down the next ball, and with each swing he kept saying, "It's getting closer, Mommy. The Earth is rotating!" For like TEN minutes. He was so excited. And when the pendulum finally knocked the ball off, it was a big payoff. He cheered and yelled and threw his hands up in the air and jumped up and down.
I think the pendulum might be first on his agenda next time. Or at least in the top five things.
Connor's other favorites at COSI right now:
The drum that beats each time your heart does and the rocket ride in the Space exhibit.

I LOVE Lex's red hair with those citrus colors at the water table!
