We had two fire pits, so we used one for all our fires, and we used the other one as a fishing hole. Connor caught a leaf.
We had intended to tent camp, but we arrived during a hail storm. After Ariel and I set up our tent in the rain, we changed our minds, and got a cabin. Which was what Penguin wanted to do anyways.
Penguin in the loft.
Mohican Reservation had everything we could want. It was on the Mohican River, and since it was private property, we didn't even need fishing licenses to fish in the river. We could have done canoeing if the kids were older. There was running water and electricity at each campsite. There were good bathrooms and showers. There was a playground and all the various sporting sites Connor could want. I think his favorite was the soccer field, but it might have been the basketball court, you'll have to ask him to find out for sure.
The camp store was well stocked, and there were laundry facilities and a "game room" full of arcade games, which we steered clear of, for fear of never being able to get Connor out again.
