The next stop on our little tour of New England was Boston. I loved Boston! What a great city, and with so many universities, all along Massachusetts Ave. Although, having three streets running parallel all named Massachusetts Ave is a bit much for me. That was my only complaint, though, and we managed using both the GPS navigator and a Google map!
We stayed at the Inn at Havard. There was a nice cushioned window seat in our room that Connor claimed as his bed for the night. It was a lovely hotel, but it was the first hotel where we've stayed in recent memory where we could hear the guests in other rooms. That made me feel sorry for them, mostly, as Connor and Lex woke up with the sun and could not be kept quiet. And just in case you didn't realize (as we didn't) the sun rises much earlier in Boston than it does in Central Ohio, because Boston is much further east in our time zone. Which meant that Lex saw the sun and decided that it was time to get up sometime during the 5:00 hour. Seriously. And you just can't reason with a 7 month old and get them to go back to bed or play by themselves quietly.
Anyways. Back to the main point. Havard or Yale?
Well, based upon my highly scientific study that involved visiting both campuses, and nothing more extensive, I've decided that Connor and Lex will attend Harvard.
Why? Well, because Boston is such a great city, and the campus of Harvard was more impressive than the Yale campus.
Here is some photographic evidence in support of my Harvard decision.
Plus, Harvard's colors are more my style. Go Crimson!
