On the 4th of July this year, my family walked to Kentucky. No, really. We did.
We started out at our lovely hotel in downtown Cincinnati. Then, we started walking, looking for fun and adventure. We ended up at Newport on the Levee in Kentucky. It was about a 2 mile walk, the way that we went.
As we were crossing the bridge from Ohio to Kentucky, I jokingly asked if everyone had their passports. But the truth is that we are blessed to live in a country where we can move about freely, and such a thing isn't required of us.
God Bless the USA, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.
