My Brother Chris

Have you met my little brother Chris?

I should probably say younger brother Chris, actually. He is taller than me.

And you probably haven't met him because he hasn't lived in Ohio for several years now.

First he left home and moved to Florida. Then Arizona. Now he lives in Oklahoma. I guess he has more common sense than the rest of us, and has gone in search of warmer climates.

Actually, he is currently living in Oklahoma because that is where he is going to school. He's going to Rhema Bible College. But after he graduates next May, he wants to move to Chile. No, that's not another state. That's another country! He wants to be a missionary.

But, he came home for a week to visit us just recently, and it was very nice to see him. Connor was happy to see his "Uncle Chris with the black hair." (This is because he also has a "Small Uncle Kris with red hair.") Lex was happy to meet another one of his uncles. They all got along famously. They played sports together, and Uncle Chris bought Connor a Buzz Lightyear movie-sized action figure to go along with his beloved Woody. (Only, Connor calls him Buzz Lightner To The Rescue. Every time he says Buzz, it is followed by those other 4 words. Very cute.)

Oh, and Chris taught me how to push on a door just so in order to open it when it is locked. This is going to come in handy at my parents' house, where Connor frequently locks himself in their bathroom. (They have a different kind of interior door lock than we do, and it causes some problems for Connor. And the rest of us, honestly. Whenever someone is coming out of the bathroom, you can hear them fumbling with the doorknob and lock for like 30-45 seconds first. Even the ones who live there.)
