Imaginary Friends

I read somewhere that 3 year olds are the perfect age for playing with imaginary pals.

I always thought that imaginary pals were just one special friend for a child to relate to.

It turns out that I was wrong.

We have a whole house full of imaginary friends.

They are the players.

We have soccer players, baseball players, football players, big players...

Whole teams of players.

Today I woke up and all the food from the pantry was sitting in the living room.

(Okay, not all of it.)

(Just all of it from the bottom two shelves.)

Food on the floor.

Dry goods on the sofa.

Canned goods on the bench.

It turns out that Connor was serving breakfast to the baseball players.

And they were hungry.

When I was young, I had a litany of imaginary friends. They were Amy, Samy, Damey, Mamey, Raimey, etc and Mrs. Woo. I have no idea why.

M has tons....they're usually animals. It's pretty sweet.

I love that the players were hungry! At least he's a problem-solver!

I'm sure his team players will improve their game, being so well-nourished:D
