Have you seen Lex?
Or my wooden salad spoon?
Oh wait - I know where to go look - he's hiding under his highchair!
This is Lex's new favorite game. I'm not really sure what is going through his little head. Maybe this a boat, and the spoon is an oar? But every day, he goes and gets the wooden salad spoon (okay, some days it's the salad fork), and he climbs up on that little tarp and giggles his head off. Then he climbs down...
...and climbs back up again. He does this for hours. Every day.
(Well, except yesterday, when I had to take the spoon away for a little bit after he (probably) accidentally knocked Connor in the face with it. It was a sad moment for everyone involved, but we all survived to live another day, today, when Lex got his spoon back, and climbed up onto that little tarp...and back down again...and back up again...)
P.S. Did you notice the one missing sock in that last picture? Why does my child routinely take one of his socks off?

If I had a dollar for every lost baby sock I saw in NYC . . .
