While at Chuck E Cheese's on Saturday, Connor rode a kiddie roller coaster. It was actually just a seat that moved around with a screen that showed video footage of a roller coaster ride. The whole experience was a little funny...Connor was really worried that he was going to be going on a real coaster, and he wanted me to get on with him. When I explained that he wasn't going anywhere and that I could hold his hand while he was riding, he didn't seem to understand. But he got on anyways, and a few times during the ride, he checked over the edge of his seat to make sure that he was still actually sitting in the same place in Chuck E Cheese's.
He only rode it once, but it seems to have made an impact, because he has been building roller coasters all over the house ever since. This one was constructed last night after a trip to the grocery store while I was putting our purchases away. He had about 8 little men from various toy sets to ride: a fireman, some knights, a troll, a wizard, etc. And Lex just wanted to ride on top of Connor.
